General comments: | Alpha Estate is located in the NW part of Greece, Amyndeon Region, Florina. Alpha Estate was founded in 1997 by experienced winegrower Makis Mavridis and oenologist Angelos Iatridis, who after many years of activity in different regions of Greece, chose Amyndeon to create his own wine. The vine is cultivated with respect for nature, combined with eco-friendly practices, at the highest level, based on the latest international standards. The professionalism, experience and effort of the team are necessary conditions for achieving the desired result. |

Characteristics: | Light yellow color, bright, with greenish notes. Intense and rich nose, typical of the variety, with citrus, passion fruit, honey and hints of oak. Full, creamy mouthfeel with excellent balance, freshness and finesse. Persistent aftertaste with a long finish. Aging potential: 3-5 years |
Vinification: | Skin contact in the inert atmosphere at low temperature, alcoholic fermentation controlled by indigenous flora isolated from the specific block, in fine barrels, Troncais oak barrels, with regular stirring on fine yeast for 7 months. Maximum 7 months after vinification in the same oak barrels. |

Soil: Clay-sandy, with excellent drainage. Climate: Continental, with significant rainfall and snowy winters, dry summers with cool nights, absence of spring frost. |
