General comments: | The Strataridakis family vineyards were purchased in 1955 by Aristides Strataridakis, who immediately noticed the potential of the property’s geological and topographical features.
It is mainly consisted of monastic estates of the Sinai Monastery on the foothill of the Asterousia Mountain in Heraklion Crete. Lately, Aristides Strataridakis has passed the baton to his two sons, Kostis and Manolis, both agronomists, continuing their father’s work with passion. |

Characteristics: | Intense ruby-red color, dense, with a strong taste. Fragrances of wood and red ripe fruits in a background of butterscotch and chocolate. Rich taste, excellent balance, complexity and very long aftertaste. |
Vinification: | Manual harvest from mid-September to early October, traditional fermentation for 10-25 days in stainless steel tanks, malolactic fermentation. |
