General comments: | A family business, established in 1993 by Panos Lantides, focusing on the distinction of premium Greek wines. Panos Lantides started by studying in Montpellier, France, earned his degree and went on to deepen his knowledge of oenology and viticulture in Bordeaux for four years. Both of his sons chose to join him in the business working together to produce the best new wines of their ancient world. Lantides winery is located in Nemea, one of the most famous wine zones in Greece and the biggest Protected wine zone for red varieties, with more of 3000 hectares of vineyards. It was Nemea’s soil and climate that “compelled “Panos Lantides to cultivate delicate indigenous grape varietals, such as Agiogritiko, Assyrtiko, Malagouzia, and Moschofilero. |
