General comments: | It is the velvet child of the Amethystos family. Its purple bright color is the bequest of the small surface yields of Cabernet Sauvignon as well as of Merlot and the Greek Limnio. |

Characteristics: | Deep, vivid purple color. Fruity aromas with notes of cherries, raspberry, spices and tobacco. Full bodied, velvety taste with intense aroma of plum. Good concentration and balanced acidity with firm, mature tannins. Long finish with hints of spices. Ageing potential: 15 years. |
Vinification: | Selection, destemming, crushing fermentation, malolactic fermentation, ageing in new (30%) and old French oak barrels (12 months). Light filtration. |

Food pairing: | Oven baked pork, veal in tomato sauce. Optimal serving temperature 18°C. |
